Following the successful opening round of the BSA Superkart Division 1 championships at Bishopscourt in May, Liam Fox & Richard Dewart were well placed in the standings ahead of the second & final round at Donnington in July. Lying third after Bishopscourt, Richard Dewart was hopeful of retaining his top 3 place, despite some seriously quick opposition. A non finish in the opening race dented his hopes, however a strong Race 2 & thanks the demise of others Richard did enough to secure a well deserved 3rd overall in the championship. Despite never having raced at the circuit before, Liam Fox put some practice problems behind him to secure a pair of 5th places in the two races, which earned him 5th overall in the National Championship. Not to be out done Trevor Roberts was competing in the final round of the 250 National English championship, a pair of podium finishes were enough to give Trevor the title & added the English title to his long list of achievements.
